The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), formerly the Center for Lifelong Learning, at The University of Texas at El Paso celebrates 20 years of educating the Paso del Norte’s retired community this fall, and the organization’s leader knows his birthday wish.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), formerly the Center for Lifelong Learning, at The University of Texas at El Paso celebrates 20 years of educating the Paso del Norte’s retired community this fall, and the organization’s leader knows his birthday wish.
Rivera, a retired steel company manager from Chicago, has been with OLLI almost since he retired to his hometown in 1996. He started as a student at the Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL) and soon was asked to take a more active role in the organization.
